CALLER:Good. I have to tell you, I just listened to the -- the thing you had on withArianna Huffington. And what's scary is she's not alone.

CALLER:There's millions of them. I went to a show last night, I went to aconcert in Madison Square Garden,a Roger Waters show.Twenty thousand people in there, and I left in the middle of it. Halfwaythrough the show I had to walk out because all of a sudden, there -- I was bombardedwith graphics and everything calling the president stupid, calling [British Prime Minister] TonyBlair a lapdog. I mean -- it was just, it was out of control.

O'REILLY:Yeah. Neil Young, Neil Young has done that all throughout his concert tour withCrosby, Stills and Nash this summer. It's not only out of control, it's offensive. It's offensive, and it's demeaning to somebody like you who goes in and pays good moneyto hear entertainment, and you get stuff rammed down your throat by people whodon't know what they're talking about.

Youknow, O'Donnell and I were -- are from the same area on Long Island, Irish Catholic homes, you know, the same thing. Yet shewent one way, I went another way. Is she a bad person? I don't think sheis. . I don't have onecall on the board saying this is true. The best they can do is, well, some nutsblew up an abortion clinic. That's the best they can do, you know, the --the O'Donnell side.

O'REILLY:. She also said that we were wrong to invade Afghanistanafter 9-11. But, look, she's an American, and she's entitled tothese opinions. We shouldn't hate her, but she should be challenged.

. I got -- you know what I'm talking about? It's gonnabe a very lively program. Am I gonna be mean to her? No. I'm gonna bevery, very matter-of-fact. So, look, you know people in your own lives, yourfriends, some of them, are just nutty. You know, you just, you look at them, you roll your eyes. What else can you do?

O'REILLY:Okay. Rosie O'Donnell -- yeah -- andyou are a traditionalist. You're gonna love my book, Laura. In fact, send[caller] agalley of Culture Warrior, all right? Send her a galley. That's what this is. You know, Rosie O'Donnell feels conservativeChristians, aggressive Christians are just as dangerous as, as Muslims, terrorists. OK? Radical Muslims. The term she used was radical Christians arejust as dangerous to this country as radical Muslims. And she said that on The View.

Now,you gotta understand where she's coming from. And I am an S-P traditional warrior. That's what Culture Warrioris all about. Now, who's gonna win?Who's gonna win?

O'DONNELL[video clip]: You know, the guy grew up in Long Island. He went to the school where all the rich Catholic kids went, Chaminade. Youknow, and he always portrays himself as sort of a working-class kind of guy.I'm like, "But you went to Chaminade, so you aren't that workingclass."

O'REILLY:All right. But I'm just joshing around with them the way they josh aroundwith me. You know, let's face it. I have nothing against them. I likeStewart. O'Donnell, I don't really know.

O'REILLY:She did. She came on and she was fine and everybody watched. And, you know, I respectedher position and I wasn't disrespectful. But, look, if she's gonna saythat I was a rich kid growing up, then she's not telling you the truth, and I gotta correct therecord, [caller]. As for Stewart, you know, Stewart, we go back and forth all thetime. You know, back, back, back, back, back. In fact, one of the great clipsthey used on the 20/20 piece onFriday was when I called Stewart a pinhead. That was great.

CALLER:And also, what's it gonna take to get people like Rosie O'Donnelland these other left-wing nutcases to open their eyes and see what is going on,Bill?

O'REILLY:You know, you're not gonna get them to say -- when I go on The View in a couple of weeks, I'mgonna say to Rosie O'Donnell -- I'm gonna say, "Listen, youmade a comment that conservative Christians in America are just as dangerous asradical Islamists. Now you wanna explain that to me, madam?" I'mgonna say that. And, you know, but, look, I don't expect her to say,"You're right, Bill, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have donethat," because she lives in that world. She lives in a world ofoverstatement.

Now,that comment, that bothered me a little bit. I have to be truthful; that bothered me a littlebit. Because, look, I understand she's resentful toward the Christianright because they don't wanna give gays adoptions privileges and theydon't want gays to get married. And she -- her -- that's her lifenow. She's a gay advocate. I understand why Rosie O'Donnell'sangry with the Christian right. But to compare them to the fanatical Islamistswho run around killing people, it's wrong, it's wrong. And, youknow, you know me, the no spin guy. But I'm hoping we can have a fewlaughs too on the show. I hope it, you know, I don't wanna have to.I'm gonna be sitting between her and Joy Behar, my God. Jeez. What I do to sell thisbook, you know?

O'REILLY:No, I don't think so. I've been on there five times, and I'vesurvived all times. I actually like going on the show. It's a lot of fun.1-877-9NOSPIN. Let's take a quick break. We'll be back with more ofyour calls and comments in a moment.

Just like we woudn't expect Hell to freeze over, Bill and KO to appear on the same show, and Bill to say, "You're right Keith, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have dishonored the American soldiers executed at Malmedy twice over the course of a year and then tried to escape my gross insensitivity by saying I meant something else that happened afterward somewhere else other than Malmedy."

Bill to admit Rosie is right. He could argue, of course, that going to a good school doesn't mean he's not working-class, but calling her names and largely dismissing the fact that ROSIE WAS RIGHT is not a rebuttal, it's a pity-party.

I predict R O'D is going to be bounced from the View gabfest. She's upsetting that right-wing blond ("how can anyone not like my opinion. I'm cute."). It's fun to watch, however. Is Walters completely out of the news game?

I really hope that the lefties who criticize O'Reilly's disputed upbringing can move on to something more relevant. There are plenty of good reasons to pick this guy apart and this isn't one of them.

...if O'Reilly didn't keep portraying himself as a kid from a blue-collar working class family who clawed his way off the assembly line to the bigtime where he's now a man of the people, always fighting for the little guy. Every time he says the words "blue collar" or "working class" it's a complete lie, no matter what town he grew up in. His father was an accountant and an executive at an oil company.

NEITHER of them are from "blue collar" communities. I lived on Long Island all my life. Commack, Levittown, and Westbury (wherever Bill's from) are not exactly ghettos. Rosie AND Bill are practically uppity compared to some of the communities on the south shore. Try Mastic/Mastic Beach for starters. They should both tone it down, because whether you went to Chaminade OR Commack High School, you still had your own bedroom, didn't have to use food stamps, didn't have a reduced lunch program, and your parents probably drove a car that had one color and no rag for a gas cap. Both of them had curbs in their communities. Let's keep it real, folks.

Well, listen Bill-o, Yea, your ratings are better than his. How many of those viewers are in the 18-25 year-old demographic? Actually, I heard from my dear friend Keith Olbermann (Go ahead, call Fox Security!) that your audience is a geriatric Gold Mine. How many of those viewers are still alive, billo? You're outliving your audience, pal. So get over yourself. And quit bragging that Osama wants you dead. LOL- to him you are but a fart in the wind.

Bill says with disgust, how "hyper-partisans" and people like Rosie would never change their minds because they're so entrenched in their ideology. Then, twenty seconds later, ED Hill says to Bill: "You're going to leave a changed man," and Bill says: "No I don't think so." So let me get this straight. Rosie is a hyper-partisan S-P pinhead because she can never be convinced of anything outside of her scope, BUT Bill is an independent thinker and intellectual because?....Because by his own admission, he'd never leave there a changed man? Does he ever listen to himself?
